Kudos
Why do we focus on the negative? Make a concerted effort to find the positive
and give kudos to the people around you.
We all know how great it feels to be recognized so why don’t
we make the effort to recognize others?
If you have children encourage them positively by giving
them kudos for a job well done, for their efforts on a new our difficult
task. Don’t forget about your spouse;
you know they would appreciate your positive praise as well.
Friends, co-workers, service staff…spread the kudos and make
someone’s day better.
Great job taking a minute for yourself and reading today's
affirmation. Keep it up!
I was recently given one of those rubber bracelets, this one with the word "kindness" on it in seven languages. The idea is that you perform a random act of kindness, then switch the bracelet to the other wrist, then repeat. If your bracelet stays on the same wrist for an extended period, it's a reminder to get back in touch with your kind self. It's not quite the same as kudos, but giving kudos could definitely be construed as an act of kindness.
ReplyDeleteCame by from the A to Z and really enjoy your writing. Encouragement is something that humans can never get enough of, as a writer we look for it even more. When I share my writing, or I read it to you or I want you to read it that is a big deal for me.
ReplyDeleteYou are very right, instead of looking only at the negatives, if we cold just start to look at the positives life would become so wonderful. Even just a smile is enough, for you would automatically get a smile back in return, so not only our day is blessed, the other person also feels blessed: such a win, win situation.
ReplyDeleteBeing kind is not always what we want to do, but it's always the right thing to do. Great post.

Stopped by from the A-Z Challenge and I completely agree with you, kindness is a virtue and more people should practice it on a regular basis - more people should focus on the positive
