G
Grateful
It is important to be happy with what you have but many people don’t even realize how much they
have. We have been trained to focus on what we want, which is usually something you don’t have.
Once you acquire it you move on to the next thing you want and don’t appreciate the items you were
yearning for before.
Take time to think about all you have to be grateful for. If you actually write it down it will be a very
long list. Be amazed at how much you have and be grateful. Many of us have enough to share with
others who are in need and would be very grateful for the gifts they receive.
So, so true! Grateful is a wonderful G word. Adopting a thankful attitude will bring more positives into our lives. Great post. It's nice meeting you! #mattminion
ReplyDeleteThis is very true. Many people in the U.S. and other countries like our take their circumstances for granted. We have so much to be grateful for in our lives. I'll put down clean running water that is easy to access as a first one. Who even gives that much thought each day, but if it weren't there it would be such a burden.

Great point. It is incredible how many nations still don't have reliable, safe water available for it's citizens.
DeleteThank you so much for inspiring me at the CBW-LA talk to join the challenge. I am very grateful. :)
Kat,
ReplyDeleteNice post. I am visiting you from A to Z.
We Americans are pretty spoiled, never having enough of everything, so we think. We take much for granted here. I am grateful though and appreciative. Growing up on a farm and basically in poverty, you learn to appreciate even the small things we have in life.
